Next weekend is actually my birthday, but Dad and Lori are off next week so they decided to come up to Dallas to visit me. For some reason, they didn’t want to do repair work on my house so we went out to explore Dallas. First we went to Cracker Barrell for breakfast, which is good as always, and then we drove to downtown Dallas to see the aquarium.
By this time we had been all over the aquarium and we were tired. We ended up in a room that was playing a movie over something ocean related just so we could sit down. I wanted to go see the JFK museum next, but Dad wanted to get off his feet for a while so we went to see a movie. That movie theatre is the nicest theatre I have ever been in. The chairs were comfy air chairs that folded down almost flat to be a bed. It is a good thing we were seeing Captain Marvel, because the action movie kept us awake. After the movie we drove to our final activity of the night: Medieval Times. Dad and I have been before, but this was Lori’s first time. When we were in line to go in, the guy scanned our tickets and saw that we had paid full price. He offered us the promotion that was currently going on, which upgraded us to VIP and there was some money left over. We could get a free photo or the credit for use at the bar. Of course we chose the bar. We went inside the main room to wait for the doors to open for the tournament. While we waited, we got some drinks at the bar. Luckily they had strawberry daiquiris, so I got to enjoy a drink too. We only waited a couple of minutes before the doors opened and they called our group to go in.
